Upgrade Your KeePass 1 (KDB) Database to KeePass 2 (KDBX)

Please note: Currently it is only possible to convert the format of a database using the macOS app. It's not possible on iOS.

To convert your database file to KeePass 2 in the Mac app:

1. Unlock your database
2. Select File in the menu bar (at the very top of the screen)
3. Select Export
4. Select Export as KeePass 2...
5. Choose a location and save your KDBX file
